Quick casserole recipes

Sheppard’s pie

2 cups cooked ground meat(or chopped up steak if you have that)
1 can of gravy(or make your own, if you know how)
1 package of frozen veg. medley or corn
1 pouch of mashed potatoes, prepared(or use leftover mashed potatoes)
melted butter (mmmmm)

mix the ground beef and the gravy together. Place at the bottom of the casserole dish(no need to grease). Top with the frozen veggies. Top that with the prepared mashed potatoes. Sprinkle the top of the mashed potatoes with salt and pepper. Drizzle the melted butter (mmmm) on top of the potatoes. Place in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes and Enjoy!

Chinese chicken casserole

2 cups chopped up chicken
1 can chicken gravy (or make your own)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tsp ground ginger
1 cup rice (leftover Chinese rice would be awesome)
1 cup bread crumbs (tossed in oil)
1 package frozen broccoli
2 dashes of salt
1 dash of pepper

Combine chicken, rice, broccoli, gravy, soy sauce, ginger, salt and pepper into the casserole dish. Mix together (no dirty bowls!). Top with bread crumbs. Place in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Gobble Gobble casserole

2 cups chopped up turkey(chicken is fine, if you have no turkey)
1 can cream of mushroom soup(or make a béchamel sauce if you dare)
1 package of frozen (or canned) peas and carrots
2 cups egg noodles
2 pinches of thyme
1 pinch of rosemary
dash of salt
2 dashes of pepper(needs that extra kick!)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Combine all ingredients, except cheese, into the casserole dish. Mix well. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

The Gobble caserole looks great, i have been doing casseroles for the freezer for our leftover turkey, and i will do this tonight. Yes I know it is too early for Thanksgiving but we go to my mil and she is English, I think maybe that is why her turkey is so awful, we love her but…
