I was so glad to get rid of 2 bars of the bath buddies in my little cousin’s birthday gift, but totally forgot that I had 4 more on my grocery list for Sunday. Oy vey! What to do? Well, I’m sure we’ll figure something out. As a matter of fact, I have!

As you can see here, my assistant Fabian is demonstrating my new favorite use for the bath buddies bars: cleaning the bath area!
Because it is in the mesh, it can get any grime or dirt out with a little elbow grease(and I mean a little). I have Fabian assist me with this task whenever we have bath time. Ok, thats totally not true. I actually use a bath buddy bar that I have reserved next to the spray bottle of vinegar solution and I use it to get any rings out of the tub weekly. I asked Fabian to hold up his very own buddy bar and place it on the tub while I take a picture. And because I’m his mama, I mean boss, he obliged. He’s a good worker. And his name isn’t Fabian, but it does sound like an important “assistant-type” name, doesn’t it? Better than “Jeeves.”

My second favorite use for this little buddies deals with my many travels down to my base and not remembering everything I need: A great travel bar of soap!

If you travel a lot for work, or are planning a vacation soon, this would be right up your alley. I just love that mesh around the bar….makes the whole thing feel more elegant than it is. Also, its a gentle soap, so its much better for your skin than that harsh soap they leave for you in hotel rooms. Last, since we’ve been getting these suckers for free, if you happen to just accidentally leave it in the bathroom when you depart, you won’t cry your eyes out about it. Seems win-win to me!

Edit: Thanks to Katy for this next, wonderful idea!

Another great idea that I was told about was to use it as a cute little package for any guests you may have staying the night at your place. Pair it with a washcloth and towel and place it right on their pillow. Very fancy but very frugal. You could fold the towel in a cool way and place the washcloth and bar of soap(out of the box but not out of the plastic cover) right in a pocket of the towel. So elegant and easy to do! Thanks again for the idea, Katy!

Coming soon: mustard(I know! I promise this one is next)

That’s very cute picture of you boy. And he’s already learning house-work so you’re on great track with him!
