Don’t you just love the holidays? I love them because I can sing Christmas carols without people in shorts and tank tops, enjoying their 4th of July burger, looking at me like I belong in Arkham asylum(which superhero comic is that from? hmmmm?). I also love pulling out my cute sweaters and berets to wear. Yes, I said beret. My grandmother started that quirk when I was a little girl.
But most of all, I love to give…..and the holidays are the season of giving! So today, I have my very first giveaway! What for, you ask? Well, take a look:
See that lovely contraption? It’s called a little touch leap pad and it is a great invention from Leap Frog. My boy and I fell in love with this when he was given one for his 1st birthday. I loved that I could sit there and read the books with him at night but if I needed a breather during the day, he could sit in his little rocking chair and have the books “read” to him. He even figured out where to push the buttons to turn it on, off, and keep the story going. At age 1!
I loved it so much, that I found the leap pad on sale at Toys R Us last holiday season and grabbed up a few to give away to any upcoming 1-year-olds. Well, now I want to treat my readers to one! Here are the 3 ways you can win it:
1) Leave a comment telling me what your favorite series is on 4 hats and frugal. Is it military woman? How about the stockpile double agents? Maybe you love the recipes. Just let me know! Please….
2) Become a follower of this blog(look to the right and click “follow this blog”) and you get 3, yes 3, more entries! If you are already a follower, guess what? You automatically get your 3! Just leave me a comment about your favorite series and I’ll count you as entered 4 times!
3)Talk about this giveaway on your blog, link back to this post and I’ll give you one more entry! Make sure you let me know in your comment, so I can take a gander at your blog and give you that extra entry.
This contest will end on Sunday, November 16th and the winner will be selected by randon.org and announced on Tuesday, November 18th. Good luck all!
P.S.- I am in no way affiliated with Leap Frog. This is coming from my gift stockpile and the bottom of my heart, not the Leap Frog warehouse. They have no idea who I am and would probably think that I’m quite a psycho. My boys love me, and that’s all that matters. And you all. You all love me, too :o)
