Can finally use up those KFC coupons and be done with them! Great way to start off the week. I’m using up some pie dough I have in the fridge and using 4 pounds of apples I just got today for 1.98. Apple turnovers it is! Plus, turnovers freeze wonderfully, so I can freeze half for a quick dessert during our moving week.
Monday: Free Meal courtesy of KFC…finally getting rid of these coupons!
Tuesday: Slow cooker chuck steak and potatoes with carrots
Wednesday: Sauteed Tilapia in a white wine butter sauce with rice pilaf and spinach
Thursday: Spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread
Friday: Personal pizzas made in the toaster oven!
Saturday: Breakfast for dinner! French vanilla pancakes with eggs and home fries
Sunday: Chicken Adobo with white rice and braised carrots
Dessert of the week: Apple turnovers with ice cream
Bread of the week: honey wheat

I just have a question for you. How do you store your homemade bread? I love to bake bread but have problems with it drying out before I can use it. I love you blog btw. Thanks! Melissa
Melissa,
I did make the mistake of buying those green bags, but for bread. Totally doesn’t matter lol. I decided to use 2 gallon ziploc bags as an experiment and they work just as well as those expensive bread bags. If its been a few days and the bread still isn’t used up, I put it in the fridge. Depending on what you’re going to use the bread for, you dont need it room temp. anyway.
