Why oh why can’t yoga pants be chic? I mean, as a woman, and a mom, oh and someone that works from home, yoga pants are essential. But, if I wear them out of the house, there is a possibility that Stacy and Clinton from What Not To Wear might pop out. That would MORTIFYING. So what can we do? Luckily there are lots of stylish, chic, and comfortable items we can style this coming spring.

Top Left: Chambray Pin Dot Shirt from Delia’s – 14.99
Top Right: Round Collar Chambray Shirt from Forever 21 – 17.80
Bottom Left: Women’s Polka Dot Chambray Shirt from Old Navy – 19.80
Bottom Right: Long Sleeve Woven Chambray Shirt from Aeropostale- 25.00

Chambray shirts are the quintessential “lazy” shirt for women of all shapes and sizes. Chambray is a style that will always be current, so investing in a great denim shirt that fits your style is a smart move. All of the shirts above are under 25 dollars.

Chelsea Belted Ankle Pant from Alloy – 36.99

Cream colored or khaki pants are another great staple, especially in the spring and summer. This year, pairing a classic pair of pants with a unique or trendy tee and a pair of flats will be your perfect uniform. I love pairing a cropped pair, like the ones pictured above, with a chambray graphic tee and a chambray shirt used as a second layer. If cropped pants aren’t your thing, a great pair of wide leg trousers will work just as well.

Tanks are a great way to add embellishment to an outfit as well. Find ones that have a unique design and represent your personality. I love this one from Vintage Teal Tank Top from Fashion Rooster:

It’s simple and yet has a great embellished logo on the side of the shirt. And the teal color is perfect for spring. I also love this tee that reads “I Am Fashion.”

Both are on sale for 16.00!

While we can’t wear out yoga pants all day everyday, we do have some great options to done in their stead. Here’s to a comfortable spring!

Disclosure: I was sent the vintage teal tank from Fashion Rooster to review. Oh, and they sent me Yoga pants! Be that as it may, all opinions, and fashion choices, are my own.

The chambray kind of weirds me out. Reminds me very much of junior high and high school. I know everything comes back around, but I don’t know if I can wear it without feeling like I’m going to an “I Love the 90s” party.

Those cropped khakis are super cute. I might buy them! Have you ever ordered from that website? If so, was it a good experience?

I love your fashion sense, A. Seriously. xo

I admit I’ve worn yoga pants in a stylish ensemble! Granted, they look like leggings so they were easy to pull off. I have mixed feelings about chambray as well but I’m gravitating toward the ones that look the least denim-like. I wasn’t a big fan of the grunge era and that’s what these denim button-ups remind me of!

I’ve been seeing more and more chambray tops recently so I guess they are the big thing right now! I don’t know that I can give up my yoga pants but those cropped khakis are super cute!
