Have you ever had a few clothing pieces that you knew didn’t work for you anymore, but you’d love to find someone who would appreciate (and wear) it? As a “thrifter”, I struggle with this all the time. I find great pieces, bring them home, wear them out, and then wish I had a girlfriend to pass it on to. Now if only there was a place online where I could do all of this, and have my friends, virtual and otherwise, do the same. Now there is: Tracy’s Closet.
Tracy’s Closet is an online community where fashionistas can share their passion, and their clothes! The site works on a points system: upload pictures of items that you are willing part with, and recieve “points” to use towards purchasing items from the online closets of other fashion-savvy members. There’s a quick form to fill out with every upload, and just like that, you have points to use towards new fashions. There’s no need to break out the credit card since everything is based on the point system. It’s like the best kind of bartering!
Tracy’s Closet offered points to me so I could try out their system. I loved searching numerous virtual closets for new items to add to mine.
This dress was actually brand new. I love how funky and cool it looks, with great geometric patterns and and an interesting hem. I grabbed it up immediately.
I loved this Max Studio dress. It’s a simple black dress on top, with a fun detail on the bottom. Perfect for parties, or any of the upcoming conferences I’m attending.
Have I ever shared my love for Pashminas? No? Well, it’s a small obsession, so I’m always on the hunt for a great one. This lime green pashmina will look fantastic in my closet. I can’t wait for it to arrive!
One of the best parts of being a Tracy’s Closet community member: free shipping! I loved that there was no extra shipping cost, which makes this a Utopia for frugal fashionistas.

Disclosure: I was offered points in return for a review of Tracy’s Closet via Mom Spark Media. All opinions are my own.
