I’ve had a hard time with niches when it comes to blogging. When I first started out on my frugal journey and decided to document it on this here blog, I knew exactly how I would attack this. I would be accountable with our finances, by sharing our budget, using coupons, stretching a meal and letting everyone peek into the looking glass that was my life. Back then, I was considered a coupon and deal blogger, since I did match ups for my local store. Flash forward a few years, and I’m far from that.
Now, I focus on just four topics: family, food, fashion(with a little beauty) and finance. The problem? Each of those are their own niche. I never feel like I full fit into any one of them when chatting with bloggers that are fully immersed in a niche. I’m hoping this coming weekend will help me figure out how to tackle what this blog represents.
A big thank you to my sponsor for the conference, Theraderm Clinical Skin Care. I fell in love with this company a year ago, and while I’m obsessed with their products (I use them everyday), I’m an even bigger fan of their business ethic and appreciation of bloggers. I can’t wait to share some of the projects we have in mind for 4 Hats and Frugal and Theraderm for the rest of the year.
I can’t wait to return from Niche Parent Conference and share everything that I’ve learned and the great bloggers and business people I interacted with during my stay. If you’d like to see what I’m learning in real time, be sure to follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
