My day is ruled by my morning routine. The fate of my mood and how productive I will be is based on if I can hit everything on my “get ready” list each morning. While I’m not a morning person, I do love the repetition of the steps I take once I wake up. Showering, fixing my hair, washing my face: these are all important things. Oh, and don’t forget brushing my teeth and wiping on that deodorant. I think those around me enjoy when I remember to do those things. Besides wearing a great pair of jeans for the day, the best gift I give myself on a daily basis is a spritz of perfume.
I do have a love of perfumes and smelly-good things. I have a collection of candles and a menagerie of perfumes and potions. But, I don’t always love the price tag. When I get up for the day, fix my tea, pick out my jewelry and decide on a scent, I don’t want to have to cringe with each spray. Each little bit I use looks like dollar signs placed on my wrist. I battle this potential budget buster by purchasing my fragrances at Walmart now. This Jennifer Aniston perfume has a floral and sandalwood scent and is perfect to smell at the start of any day. When I saw the price tag, I immediatley fell in love. Plus, who doesn’t love Jennifer Aniston?
I think every woman wants to start her day on the right foot and the right scent. While perfume is a great addition to a list of christmas gift ideas to give and get, it’s still rather nice to be able to go out and spend on ourselves. Now that I have Walmart’s selection of department store fragrances on my radar, I just may treat myself even more.
