Ten Disney Makeup Tutorials for Halloween

October 28, 2013 by Amiyrah 23 Comments

Disney makeup tutorials

One of the best part of Halloween are the cool costumes and make-up tutorials. I could sit on YouTube for hours watching these videos, and last year, I watched a few to help me create my own costume. But, my all time favorite make-up tutorials to watch around All Hallows Eve are the Disney ones. I have a love of anything Disney, so watching YouTubers transform into some of my favorite characters is just amazing. Here are some of my all time favorite Disney makeup tutorials to watch if you’re still looking for a last minute costume idea and want to focus on the makeup part of your get-up.

Michelle Phan is the queen of YouTube, and I just love this Snow White version of her Disney makeup tutorials. It’s one of her earlier videos and really shows how easy it is to turn into the princess who’s skin is white as snow.

Promise Phan (Michelle’s sister-in-law) always has jaw-dropping tutorials (have you seen this one where she turns into rapper Drake?), but I do love when she turns into Disney characters. These two videos of her Sally  and Maleficent transformations just make me smile.

Kandee Johnson is an amazing make-up stylist and does great tutorials on everyday make-up. But this video of her Queen of Hearts transformation totally shows her real skills.

Are you more of a Mad Hatter fan? Kandee did one of her Disney makeup tutorials for that as well!

Charis from Charisma Star TV always gives THE BEST tutorials and videos. She and her husband work diligently on her videos, and I have so many favorites, that I just can’t list them all here. Here are my 3 favorite Disney makeup tutorials from her: A Scar-inspired tutorial, Ursala Glam make-up tutorial, and even a Queen Amidala tutorial!

Sasa Kiasahi’s version of Cinderella shows that you don’t have to look like Cinderella to be her for Halloween. The make-up is beautiful and she’s so fun to watch.

If you are a bit more advanced with your make-up skills, try out one of the Disney makeup tutorials for Simba from the Lion King. Or just watch it. You’ll be amazed at what Ashlea Henson can do with those make-up brushes!

BONUS VIDEO

This isn’t a make-up tutorial, per se, but have you ever seen “Part of Your World” sung by Traci Hines? She’s looks just like Ariel from The Little Mermaid and does breath-taking renditions of your favorite Disney songs…in costume!

I hope you all have a great Halloween and are inspired by these awesome Disney makeup tutorials. By the way, what are you dressing up as for Halloween?

I love the Simba one too, Pam. She did a great job with that makeup, even though I don’t think I could ever have a steady hand like that.

Incredible make up talent. Those who can transform a 23 year old into a 100 year old hag are amazing.
