The Best Things Ever - October

It’s time for another addition of the best things ever! Well, the best things ever from last month. This series highlights a few of my favorite things that made my life easy, fun, or interesting in the past month.

I Love Jesus, Coffee, and Carbs Mug

I’m a mug addict, especially is they have sayings on them that are so true. This mug has made me smile since it reached my doorstep. It also helps that my friend Stacy from Humorous Homemaking created this clever little thing. She makes me snort-laugh every time I see her on Periscope, or chat with her via email. Is it a coincidence that I always have carbs with my coffee, or that I tend to have coffee while I do my bible study? Hmm.

I’m Judging You by Luvvie Ajayi

I love a good book. While I don’t read as much as I would like, I will make time for a book that teaches me something, and makes me laugh. Luvvie’s best-selling book does both. I’ve already read the hardcopy, and am now ingesting the audible version. You just can’t beat hearing Luvvie use the proper accents when describing her Nigerian brethren. Plus, her writing style is genius, and you can hear how genius it is when she’s reading her own words. If you don’t have an audible account yet, you can get 2 free audiobooks, and a 30 day trial through this link. I suggest you use one of those free credits to download I’m Judging You. Trust me.

LuLaRoe

Judging from the fashion tab at the top of our site, I may have an affinity for fashion. Lately, I have fallen in love with LuLaRoe. This company provides flattering clothing for real women, with just the right amount of modesty and comfort. I heard about them a while ago, but everyone kept mentioning leggings. I haven’t been big fan of leggings in the past (I was on the “leggings are NOT pants” crew), so I didn’t pay LuLaRoe any mind. Then, someone introduced me to their shirts and dresses. Good Lord, I’m hooked!  While I only have a few pieces right now since these are investment fashion items, I can’t wait to add to my collection as our budget sees fit. I’m also putting together a How To Shop LuLaRoe on a Budget post, so if you love LuLa, you’ll have to come back and check it out.

Aww thank you, friend! Luvvie’s book came to the house on her launch day (I pre-ordered), but it still took me a minute to read it. Now I’ve read it all, and moved onto the audible version. So funny!
