We love video challenges around the Martin house. One of my favorites was the 100 Questions No One Ever Asks challenge, which I wrote about a while back (and created 2 YouTube videos for).
This time around, we wanted to do a challenge that Brandon and I could have fun with, so when I found the No Laugh Challenge on YouTube, I knew we had to do it. To make it even more hilarious, we would do it on Facebook Live.
The challenge is simple: whoever can hold out laughing the longest is the winner. But, I quickly learned there are many ways to do this challenge —
- Watch a video reel of funny vines or clips together, and see who will laugh first
- Place water in your mouth, while your partner tries to make you laugh (this is the messiest)
- Have your partner say one hilarious thing to you, then you say one hilarious thing to them, then repeat.
We decided that since we are movie addicts, and we basically talk to each other in movie quotes all day, we’d use funny movie quotes to make each other laugh. Was this a bad idea? Of course! But, was it extremely funny? YUP!
We had a blast, and it was actually harder than we thought it would be. We had a few friends say that they wanted to try it out with their spouses or partners, because it looked like so much fun. We also decided that we want to do it again; the best part of this challenge is that you can do it over and over!
