There’s something about a classic Disney character that makes your heart sing. This week, I was able to have some fun at the Christopher Robin premiere on the Walt Disney Studios lot, to celebrate a few of our favorite characters of all time.
It was so cool to spot Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael, Jim Cummings and Brad Garrett roaming the streets of the studio, while taking in the magic of where we were. I’ve never attended a red carpet event on the Walt Disney Studios lot, and it was just perfect to have one for a film that features the beautiful relationship between Christopher Robin and Winnie The Pooh.
To add to the magic, the studio’s historic Orchestra Stage (where the music for the “Winnie the Pooh featurettes, “Mary Poppins” and “The Jungle Book” were recorded), was renamed Sherman Brothers Stage A in honor of Richard Sherman (who was in attendance) and his late brother Robert B. Sherman.
With all these awesome celebrities walking around, we couldn’t forget some of the biggest ones around. One of my favorite set-ups during the Christopher Robin premiere was seeing Winnie The Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger chilling on beach chairs with the cutest sunnies on their faces. It was adorable!
Then, my night was made when I got to take a photo with THE Disney “It” couple — Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. I was smiling so wide that you can hardly see my eyes! What is it about taking a photo with these two that makes everyone feel extremely giddy?
Once we entered the theater to screen Christopher Robin, you could feel the electricity in the air. We learned earlier that day during our exclusive interviews with the cast, most of them had yet to see the film in its completion. Their excitement was contagious, and spread throughout the room. It was so lovely to experience.

This was another amazing experience that I’ll never forget. Christopher Robin is a film that you’ll never forget. A big thank you to Walt Disney Studios for inviting me to this awesome event.
