Here we go again! It took me all day to figure out what I want to make this week. I am glad to say that I am fully stocked in the freezer, fridge and pantry for the first time EVER so I feel like an artist with new shades of paint to use! I decided to try to use up any leftover food this week and use up anything that I may have bought a week or two ago. That way I can start fresh next week (maybe).
Monday: corn, carrot and potato chowder with side of mozzarella pretzel bites
Tuesday: chicken fried rice with a side salad Dessert: Chocolate chip cookies
Wednesday: Breakfast for dinner! Yay! Scrambled eggs, hash browns, and homemade biscuits
Thursday: Beef and rice soup with a side salad and homemade bread Dessert: Cinnamon apples
Friday: Chicken rice casserole
Saturday: I’m off! Military weekend. Whoo Hoo
Sunday: Take out (yes, I know….*gasp!* spending money?! If you had to work from 7 to 4 and then drive 2 hours back home, you would get take out this one Sunday a month too)
The beef and the chicken are leftover from last week’s roast chicken and beef stew. Once I get done with those I can start again on Monday with another roast chicken (yay!) and a chuck roast. Can’t wait to do it!
