Total OOP: 1.54 Savings: 35.39 96% savings with 9.99 in ECBs back! Only lost a penny in ECBs!
I just noticed that the cashier gave me the 6.99 off instead of the 2.50 while I was typing this….I was wondering why my OOP was so low at the store without me using my other 4.50 ECB. It was actually too low for me to use the 10.00 ECB so I got the charmin and the eggs, since I had a coupon for the charmin in my bag. That was a great “comeback” trip!
Disclaimer: You may have noticed that I used a 4 off 20 CVS coupon AND a 2 off 10 CVS coupon in both transactions. This is called “stacking” and technically isn’t allowed, according to their corporate headquarters. Some stores and managers still allow you to do it, but if you try it and they say that it is not allowed, don’t be surprised. I only try these with my favorite cashier at my store. Sometimes she can do it, and sometimes she can’t. If you plan to try this scenario, just be prepared for different results. That is all!
