Ran to the stores today and went to WAGs and shop rite. Here’s a condensed version of how I did:
Walgreens: 4 items- 4 coupons including a 5.00 RR- orginal total: 10.76- total OOP: 1.32 with tax 88% savings
I got 2 aquafresh toothpastes and I should get back 3.99 for each when I do that monthly rebate thing. Still dont know how to do that but I’ll figure it out before the end of the month lol.
Shop Rite trip 1: 33 items- 19 coupons- original total: 66.95- total OOP: 24.63 64% savings plus I got 2 5.00 OYNO coupons which I immediately used for my second trip
Shop Rite trip 2: 10 items- 3 coupons- original total: 22.85- total OOP: 9.88 57% savings
I did 2 transactions because I wanted to use my 2 5.00 OYNO coupons towards meats that are on sale this week and a few things that we needed in the house (sugar, flour, cheese, etc). I didnt DARE want to pay full sale price for those things lol.
Stop and Shop: 17 items- 7 coupons- original total: 45.83- total OOP: 24.65 47% savings
stocked up on more cereal because this store had a “buy 4 boxes get 4.00 off” sale on GM cereal and BC fruit snacks. They were already on sale for 4 for 6.00, had 2 .50/2 coupons for fruit snacks that doubled, so those were free. For the cereal, I had 2 .75/2 coupons that doubled so I had an overage of 1.00 for those. I spent a bit on juicy juice(on sale and had coupons but still expensive) and I got some day old bread. No regrets though! I’m more than set for cereal and fruit snacks now!
