Well, because of a bought of food poisoning last Monday, my “short but sweet” meal plan was shot out to the moon. Now, I get to actually make a few of the things I said I was going to make instead of feeling ill just thinking about them. Seems like my tummy will not be letting us eat out anytime soon. One of the drawbacks of being frugal and making all of your meals at home……you get sick from take-out! Argh! Well, here’s what I’m thinking for this week:
Monday: beef lo mein(nope, I didn’t get to make it last week)
Tuesday: Roasted Chicken with mashed potatoes and shredded candied carrots
Wednesday: Baked Pasta with a side of steamed broccoli
Thursday: Mexican corn soup made in the crock pot with a side of cornbread
Friday: Pizza night! Whoo Hoo!
Saturday and Sunday: Momma’s off to serve her country…the boys will have leftovers
Bread of the week: honey wheat
