This is such a yummy cake and perfect for entertaining your family and friends, without feeling like you have to go overboard. Bonus? You start with boxed cake mix! I love recipes like this! A great cake to have for Christmas morning(hey, you can have cake for breakfast on Christmas!) or even take to a New Year’s Eve party you may be invited to.
1 box spice cake mix
1 apple, peeled, cored and minced
3 eggs
1/3 cup veggie oil
1 cup apple juice
½ cup sour cream
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all the ingredients together with hand mixer or your stand mixer.
Pour batter into a bundt pan, and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
For added flavor, mix a teaspoon of powdered sugar, teaspoon of cinnamon and half teaspoon ground ginger in a small sifter. Sprinkle on top of the COOL cake.
