Because I was down at the base yesterday, I am yet again behind! Here’s the final product:
Monday: crockpot Beef vegetable soup with no-knead rolls
Tuesday: almond crusted chicken with brown butter rice and braised carrots
Wednesday: smoked turkey and bean soup
Thursday: breakfast for dinner- pancakes, turkey bacon, grits and scrambled eggs
Friday: pizza day!
Saturday: valentines day! Pan seared steak with roasted potatoes and side salad
Sunday: leftovers night
Bread of the week: no-knead rolls
Dessert of the week: cheesecake and grapefruit curd
Soup of the week: beef veggie soup and smoked turkey bean soup(from Monday and Wednesday’s dinner)
I really need to get my act in gear and start doing this. I think I did it the first two weeks in January, and it worked great! I think one time we switched a Tuesday night meal with the Thursday night meal. But it worked great…no DH asking ‘What’s for dinner’ like we’ve been doing for weeks now 🙁

it is a life saver. As you saw lol, I didn’t even have days posted next to the meals when this automatically posted. I just got back online and updated it with days. When I think of a meal I may want to cook, I put it in an post on here and save it. Then, every friday or saturday, I come back on blogger and see what I had in mind. Whittle it down to 5 or 6 dinners, and you’ve got a meal plan!
Can you come to my house and help me? LOL. I’ll probably go through what I have at home tonight and make up my list. I have some ideas…I also have a bunch of single pages with a weeks worth of a calendar to write them in 🙂
