Well, it’s been quite a weekend! We have leftovers from my parent’s barbecue yesterday, and still a few leftovers of our own. The beef brisket that’s left will be used up on Tuesday, and the applesauce that’s left will be used on Wednesday.This weekend will be quite a baking weekend, so I’ll have to dedicate a whole other post on that later in the week. I’m so glad that I can take this Monday off but let’s see what I can think up for the rest of the week:
Monday: BBQ leftovers!
Tuesday: Chopped beef and caramelized onions over mashed potatoes, with carrot ribbons
Wednesday: slow cooker applesauce chicken but with turkey breast instead! Broccoli on the side
Thursday: Spanish style garlic tomato shrimp over yellow rice
Friday: Pizza pizza!
Saturday: Teriyaki pineapple beef with green peppers and white rice
Sunday: Cooking all day for Military week starting next Tuesday! We’ll have leftovers from this week
dessert of the week: we still have lemon cake left!
bread of the week: Portuguese sweet bread
Lunch of the week: Pasta salad from the barbecue. I made too much :o)
