Christmas in July- The mini series

Sharing is caring!

Well, it’s that time of year again. No, not Christmas, but it is time to start thinking about it. I know, it’s 5 months away, but if you don’t start now, you’ll regret all the extra money spent trying to get all the gifts you need for those on your list. Why not be proactive and save in the process!

This is why, for the rest of the week, I will be doing a mini-series on the best ways to get Christmas done….in July. That’s right, you can finish up those gifts, or at least get a great start, during the rest of this month.

I touched on this idea last year in this post, but I want to delve into the idea even more this year. Plus, at the end of the week, I have a wonderful giveaway to get you all started some great, personalized gifts.

So, stay tuned and get ready to start preparing for a frugal holiday!

Excellent!! I used to shop for Christmas all year long, but now I give gifts from my kitchen, so “shop” during picking season.. for fruits for jam…and sales on baking supplies.

I am ready to start making jam soon!

We also have a Christmas club account at our credit union. I try to put $100 a month in. I haven’t made June’s deposit yet, but will in the next couple of days. We use that for money to give to our kids, to buy gifts for grandbabies if needed and to get goodies for Hubby and me.

I LOVE Christmas and am ready to decorate!!

Looking forward to the series! And thanks for the reminder! It’s about time for me to start saving up my gift cards from mypoints and swagbucks for Christmas purchases. 🙂

I look forward to this. I have been taking advantage of the sales at Old Navy to pick up some basics for DH. Sales on clothes are great this time of year!

I can’t wait to read more. I LOVE Xmas. I’ve always shopped for gifts all year round. But new tips are always welcome 🙂

I’ve been thinking about Christmas already myself. There was a cute little store DBF and I went to at the log cabin museum we visited this weekend. I picked up a couple things there. Plus, I know what I’m going to order for him. I’d tell you, but my luck he’d find his way here and see it!
