Cinnamon Raisin Apple Brown Betty

Sharing is caring!

A simple apple brown betty recipe using cinnamon raisin bread. Delicious, easy and a great fall dessert.

I’m a fan of the simple. I’m also a fan of producing great, stick to your ribs recipes that are easy to put together. This is one of those recipes.  Brown betty recipes are easy to begin with, so I decided that adding in some cinnamon raisin bread that I procured on clearance would just take it to the next level. My grocery store always has cinnamon raisin bread on clearance, and while I pick up a few rolls to use for breakfast, I’ve always wanted to do more with it. Once apple season rolled around, and I started to see lots of friends making apple brown betty recipes, the light bulb went off. Cinnamon raisin apple brown betty! It’s like placing narwhols and unicorns at the same dinner table. You know that there will be excitement, but this time, the excitement is in your mouth! Ok, I may be taking it a bit far, but this really is a great recipe.

Since this can be served hot or room temperature, it’s great for a dinner party or holiday get-together. Top this masterpiece with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whip cream or that non-dairy stuff that I love to eat by the spoonful.
