Don’t you just love simple snacks? This one was created once I opened the cupboards and had a light bulb moment.
With back to school time in full swing, I figured it was time to share yet another quick and easy after-school snack I put together for Sonny: banana sandwiches. Bananas seem to always be available and at a great price all year ’round, so this would be easy to put together anytime. Also, these are awesome frozen! They make a yummy snack for summer as well.
1 banana, sliced into 8 rounds
16 small cookies or crackers(think chips ahoy or ritz)
1/2 cup chopped nuts or sprinkles(optional)
Place a banana round in between two cookies(or crackers).
Roll the banana section in the chopped nuts or sprinkles(optional).
Freeze for at least 1 hour or eat immediately. Your choice!
