This has been quite a week! I feel like we’ve been going non-stop, and I’m looking forward to the weekend. Here are a few highlights:
I’m nail polished obsessed. I knew I had a busy week ahead, so I chose a new polish to help me feel a bit put-together. This one is smokey brown from ELF. Perfect for Fall, right?
I also had military weekend, so it was time to make some treats for my buddies. September is full of birthdays in the shop and Ritz Cookies are always a favorite amongst the group. The white ones are filled with Nutella!
After lunch, we took the birthday “kids” out for fro-yo and bubble tea. My friend Matt (on the right) was very excited about this outing.
The kids and I found a perfect place to take our Holiday pictures this year. It’s an open field next to an abandoned warehouse.
We also did a little photo shoot with this munchkin face. Can you tell that she loves purple?
Wednesday, I took a looong 3 hour voyage to Long Island for the Disney On The Road conference. I went on behalf of the Queen of Swag. I left ready to take on the world, and finally plan a Disney trip.
While driving there, I saw this Mac and Cheese food truck. While stuck in traffic. I hadn’t had breakfast yet. New York was determined to taunt me.
I also got to go under this. The Verrazano is pretty spectacular, dontcha think?
I also decided that it was necessary to make this for dinner. Baked potatoes topped with homemade mushroom and onion gravy and either cheddar or mozzarella cheese. Yes, I did eat 2, and so did my newly vegetarian son. Sigh.
Those military dudes look pretty hot! At 46 I’m probably old enough to be most of their mothers, but a chick’s allowed to fantisize, right? Hee-hee!
Hahahaha! Well, most of my miitary buddies are single, ready to mingle, and are lovers of “Cougars.”
Your Pics Are Awesome!
Damn, I knew I shouldn’t have gotten married! Of course I’m totally joking here; I love my husband to death. But again, there’s nothing wrong with a little fantasy. BTW, I’ve been totally crushing lately over that actor Ryan Reynolds. I saw him in this movie called “Waiting” last week, which was hilarious. He was cute then, and he’s a total hottie now. YOW-zah!!!
So many things I love about this post.
Mac and cheese truck? REALLY? That thing needs to drive south and come see me.
How awesome was Disney on the Road? Loved it!
