It seems as if everyone goes boot crazy in the Fall. Whether it’s a tall boot, a bootie, or those infamous Uggs, shoe wear get’s a injection of boot fever in Autumn. Now, you would think that because I have to wear those ugly green cinderblocks known as combat boots all the time, that I wouldn’t be a boot lover. But you’re wrong, my friend!
Look at these lovely vixens. These are the Cliffs by White Mountain Freewill Slouch boot. I recently got these beauties from DSW.com and have already fallen in love. I had been in the market for a good black slouch-type boot and these didn’t disappoint. And what made them even better? I got them for FREE! Yup, I heard you there in the background: “Fo’ Free you say?!” Yes, not a dollar of mine spent.
I’m a bit of a gift card junkie. I mean, I did pay for a whole blogging conference just from winning gift cards. So, when I received a gift card for DSW from my parents for my birthday (like I do every year), I saved that puppy. I’ve also been saving up my 10.00 credits for the store, and I even had a few 5.00 credits saved as well. Add in the free shipping for orders over 35.00 and you have free boots for this mama. They are so comfortable and warm; they’re going to be perfect for the cold and snowy New Jersey weather this winter.
Speaking of boots, would you like to win a pair? Hop on over to The Animated Woman for a chance to win a pair of awesome Cowboy boots from Country Outfitter and a drawing of yourself from JC!
Are you all boot lovers too? Do you love wearing booties or are you a knee-high boot fan?
Disclosure: I haven’t been compensated in any way for this post by neither DSW shoe warehouse nor Country Outfitters. I just love their stuff and wanted to share. JC, on the other hand, offered to draw me like one of her French girls. Just kidding.

Love the slouchy boots and the fact that you gave them a try after being a die hard combat boot woman!
