Hurricane Sandy Update

Sharing is caring!

Hey guys! I did an update on Facebook and Twitter, but I figured I should post real quick on here for those that don’t follow me on there. P.S.- if you don’t, today’s the day! Click those links and follow, my dear ;-).

We are doing OK. The kids and I stayed at our home instead of going to my parents like we did last year. That turned out to be a good thing; my parents have lost power and heat and have a down line on their street. We had severe flash flooding on the other side of our town, but thankfully only a bit of flooding here, which has now gone away.

I did a very quick vlog to tell about everything we experienced last night, and give an update for those that were asking about us all night:
If you were effected at all by the storm, I hope you and your family are healthy, safe and in a good mindset. Good luck to you!

Stay safe! It’s not over until the debris is cleared and the power is on.

Oh I can’t believe what has happened to everyone in the dangerous path of that storm. Having grown up on Long Island, it’s hard to imagine what it must be like to be surrounded by this. I lived there the first 23 years of my life and never saw anything like it.

Our area has sent off many volunteers today and everyone up here wants your communities to know we care and are thinking of you!
