Toddler outfits: Grey in Spring

Sharing is caring!

After all of the seriousness of my posts this week, I felt I needed to do a light-hearted fashion piece. And what better way to make it light-hearted than to show off yet another one of my daughter’s toddler outfits? I’m pretty sure I say this every time I dedicate a post to her, but she really does love the art of fashion. Even at the young age of two, she knows what pieces go well together, if accessories are needed and what kind of shoe she wants to pair with the whole ensemble. I like to think I’m rubbing off on her, but it’s starting to work the other way around. Like i do with my daily match ups, she loves to experiment with her toddler outfits, displaying a girlie look one day, and creating a tough but chic look the next. All this at two! I can’t even imagine what’s going to happen when she’s 16.

It does make me so happy to see that she continues to pick toddler outfits that fit her personality. The purple sneakers fit how spunky she is while the dress is laid back but beyond pretty. I had a hand in picking the bow and putting her hair up though. She a free spirit and loves to wear her hair out, big and curly.

At the first sign of warm weather, this is how she decided to greet spring. I’m excited to see how she’ll continue to greet each warm (or rainy) day. And look out summer! I’m predicting a lot of outfits with a bathing suit as a base. But I shouldn’t get ahead of myself and assume: it’s all up to what my mini frugal fashionista wants to display that season.

Do you live with a kid who has great fashion sense? Where do you think they got it from?

My girls definitely got their love of fashion from me. I enjoy watching them put pieces together. I tell you though, they’re way more adventurous than i am – girls rule 🙂
