One of the best ways to save on your groceries is to shop in season. So, what’s in season in May? Apricots, artichokes, asparagus, cherries, lettuce, mangoes and more. This is great month to create the perfect pasta primavera with asparagus, spring peas, swiss chard and zucchini. It’s also prime time for new juice and smoothie creations, with mangoes, cherries, pineapples and strawberries in season. Want the full list? Check out the graphic below and feel free to pin it to look at anytime you need to this month.

Apricots have always been one of my favorites. And asparagus I can just eat out of the pan!

Jess, I have fallen deep in love with asparagus. I pan roast it now on the stove, and even the 3 year old gobbles it up. I started eating it for breakfast with scrambled eggs too. Too dang good.

I am super excited about the fruit – especially pineapples and cherries! Okra, too. An okra soup sounds so deelish right about now! Thank you for this list
