There’s nothing like holiday music. Nothing! I love looking down my Facebook timeline and seeing how many friends are loving, and loathing, the start of holiday music playing on television and in stores. I, for one, start playing Christmas music on November 1st. There’s no shame in my game because I’m a holiday music junkie.
Each year, our family becomes immersed in the holiday spirit. Just last year, I challenged myself to sing 15 seconds of a holiday song, on my Instagram account, from December 1st to Christmas day. It was amazingly fun, and even the kids joined in. I’ve been contemplating doing it again this year, but kicking it up a notch. Maybe we’ll make it a challenge. Would you join?
I even took on the task of picking a favorite holiday song during a video prompt. While I ended up featuring a few of my favorites, I did choose one. Click the video to find out which song I gave top billing.
Lastly, I decided to completely embarrass myself and sing the holiday song I loved when I was in the choir. I can still feel those high notes shrieking from my throat. Well, it wasn’t that bad, but I did need to get back into voice lessons if I was going to continue. Thankfully, I didn’t.

This week, I’m linking up with Mama Knows It All, Houseful of Nicholes, Chewsy Lovers, Children of the Old School, and Notorious Spinks to share our versions of the spirit of the season. Be sure to check out their blogs for more holiday goodness.
