I don’t think you all realize how awesome House of Cards truly is. This Netflix original series is so amazing, ridiculous and most of all, realistic. Yes, Frank Underwood could easily be a real politician in our current government. News flash: I’m here for it. All of it. I have a Frank Underwood obsession.
If you haven’t watched House of Cards, here’s a quick CliffsNotes:
It’s a political drama that stars Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood a South Carolina Democrat who manipulates and deceives his way to the top. It’s like watching the most elaborate chess game known to man. Frank is underhanded and intelligent. He and his wife Claire take NO PRISONERS.
I’ve never been one of those people that root for the bad guy. I’m a lover of superheroes and underdogs. But Frank. Frank! He ‘s just overwhelmingly ruthless and awesome. Today, Netflix added the 3 season of House of Cards, and I’m giddy with delight. The best part is that I didn’t binge watch season 2. I actually still have a few episodes left to watch, and the husband and I did that on purpose. Frank’s moves are so intense that you have to really pay attention to each episode. Like I said, a chess game. You should NEVER rush a chess game. I did that in season one, and ended up having to watch it all over again to understand each and every underhanded thing Mr. Underwood orchestrated. Can you tell how obsessed I am with him yet? Ok, good.
Anyway, if you haven’t watched House of Cards yet, get to watching. Soon, you’ll feel exactly how I feel about Frank. In the end, everybody loves a bad guy.
