I used baby products by JOHNSON’S® to care for my little one as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #johnsonspartners #SoMuchMore
I wonder who started the whole idea of having fun in the tub. I’m pretty sure it dates back to the times when people actually had time to enjoy a good bath, rather than running the whole family in the hot tub before it got too dirty. Now, the idea of bath time fun is pretty much synonymous with a cool bubble hairdo. At least, it is in our house.
I remember the first time I used JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo to make a silly hairdo on top of my oldest son’s head. He had a full head of hair pretty much since he was born, so it was also entertaining to turn his curly hair into something extraordinary. I found myself doing the same thing to his sister, and now his little brother. The fun never stops around here, folks.
I’d love to share with you some of my favorite bath time hairstyles that seem to always get a chuckle out of my husband and me. Oh, and the kids too, of course. That is, once they’re old enough to understand comedy. So, 6 months? I digress. Behold: the bath time looks…
First off, we have the classic faux hawk. I also like to call this the rockabilly, but it just depends on the attitude of the baby that day.
Next, we have the Doc Brown. Any Back To The Future fans will totally get this one. We’re gonna gun it to 88…in this tub. Roads? We’re we’re bathing, we don’t need roads. Ok, I’m done.
Uh. You OK, Doc? You seem a bit…strange here. Anyway…
Lastly, we have the Moe. Moe is my favorite of The Three Stooges, and I always present an homage to him during bath time. The part down the middle? Classic.
It’s so important to make bath time fun for our kids, and ourselves. The special memories we create every night, affect how our little ones grow. Playtime activities during bath time, like popping with bubbles, can help with hand-eye coordination and show babies that items exist even when they can’t be seen. How cool is that? Bath time moments serve as special rituals that help parents develop relationships with their babies through touch, smell, and more!
It also helps to have a classic and reliable baby bath and shampoo to use during these moments. JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo is gentle enough for even the youngest infants with a full head of hair. It’s also enriched with conditioners for the delicate nature of your baby’s hair, and that’s music to my ears since I have 3 kids with heads full of delicate curls.
So, this is the bath time fun that we have here in our little home.
