I used JOHNSON’S® for my little one as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #johnsonspartners #TangledTalk

Our youngest is not a fan of getting his hair washed. It’s now a fact in our house. When he was younger, he’d let me shape his coils into fun bath time hairdos, and even smile about it. But at the ripe, old age of almost 1, he’s decided that the clean hair life is not for him. Oh what difference a few months can make.

This might be the most difficult part of our bath time routine, but thanks to JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® leave-in conditioner and detangling spray, combined with JOHNSON’S® shampoo & conditioner for curly/thick hair, we get the job done!

Bath time is all about play time with this kid. Even the JOHNSON’S® shampoo & conditioner for curly/thick hair bottle has to get in on play time, because Baby Frugal doesn’t discriminate.

While he plays, I QUICKLY take care of the three step routine for clean baby coils: cleanse, nourish, and style.

STEP 1: CLEANSE: We use JOHNSON’S® shampoo & conditioner for curly/thick hair because it delicately unlocks knots and tangles during bath time in your baby’s hair, leaving it easy to comb without feeling weighed down.

STEP 2: NOURISH: The JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® leave-in conditioner is a lightweight formula that gently unlocks the toughest knots and tangles for shiny, comb-friendly hair without the fuss. It dries easily, and allows you to style as you wish. Our favorite style is the classic baby ‘fro, although we do sometimes put it up into a baby man bun. So chic.

STEP 3: STYLE: The JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® detangling spray is my personal savior since Baby Frugal has delicate, yet curly hair, and they need special care. I’m able to use this when we finish bath time, or in the morning after he’s dressed for the day. It’s a quick way to style his hair without too much fuss on his part.

Now, when it comes to styling his hair after a bath, we get Daddy to hold him and make silly faces for a distraction. We may get Baby Frugal to laugh, and now he even tries to mimic Dad. This little trick works most of the time, but we do see a few sad faces a couple of nights a week.

But, just look at that face! Even when he’s upset about his hair, he still looks the cutest.

The next day, he’s all business with his shiny curls and serious crawling missions.

That one curl on the top is showing off. Apparently, it really loves JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® detangling spray. Ha!
