Our resident little fashionista has been enjoying her wardrobe lately. We’v actually introduced her to Project 333, and she took to it so well. She loved the idea of having a set amount of items to choose from each day for 3 months, and enjoys putting together unique and fun outfits (see my Instagram feed for some of her choices). FabKids was so kind to send her an outfit to add to her wardrobe this month, and she left open 3 spots just to add it to her collection. Behold: a colorful striped dress, just for girls.
She’s not a fan of the regular poses most child models do, as you can see from her face. Her comment before we took the picture? “Mom, I just wanna show the dress and twirl.” OK, kid.
This dress really shows off her personality. She’s lively, fun, upfront, and stands out in a crowd. The matching leggings are so cute, and have stood the test of time so far. She’s pretty hard on leggings, so the fact that these are lasting makes me happy.
The dress has a certain amount of heaviness to it, which immediately tells me that it will also last. When we shop for clothing for the kids we’ve learned that the lighter it is, the quicker the holes and fading will show up.
The pattern is positively perfect too. The little fashionista mentioned that she loved the “different ways the stripes go.” I love it too. I need this in my size, stat.
Can we talk about these boots? A tall black boot with sparkles…divine. She’s been trying to wear these everyday, but she doesn’t understand that tall boots aren’t great footwear for running with your friends outside. The fashionista is still learning.
As a JustFab addict, I love that my girl is a fan of FabKids. The clothes are always adorable, and the service is so much fun for little ones that have a passion for fashion. You can check out their service, and sign up, on the FabKids website.
