We’ve talked about Playmation before on 4 Hats and Frugal, but recently Sonny got the chance to play with his very own version. Prognosis? The Playmation Marvel’s Avengers Starter Pack is THE TOY for your active kiddos this holiday season. Why? Because it’s interactive.
Playmation is based on a child playing physically with digital supplements to add to the fun. It’s the next evolution of digital AND physical play. Kids can play with it indoors, outdoors, in the living room, in their room, or down in the finished basement. The missions are fun and challenging, and kids just have a ball with it. But, don’t take my word for it. I interviewed Sonny about Playmation, and here’s what he had to say:
What is your favorite part about playing Playmation?
I like all the missions and the places you can go. I also like the different abilities that the figures have.
What’s the your favorite activity or move you’ve done in a mission?
I love doing the Palm Cannon, because from the first day it was really hard to do it. But the next day I tried to, I tried doing it a different way and it worked really easily.
What kind of kid do you think would like Playmation?
Kids who are fans of the Avengers. And other people who like any other superheroes.
What do you think kids will like the most about Playmation?
All the modes you can play, like free play, free-for-all, and survival.
Do you think kids would love that they have to jump around, hide, and shoot when playing Playmation?
Yes, because that’s part of the missions, and they can sneak attack like this *he proceeded to show me his sneak attack style behind our couch.” You have to aim your laser and press your deploy button. You have to aim it at the enemy. Then with one try, the enemy just goes down! It’s so cool, Mom. I can’t get enough of it.
Well, there you have it folks. The 10 year old says he can’t get enough of it. I’m sure your kid will feel the same way, once they get their hands on Playmation.
The Playmation Marvel’s Avengers Starter Pack is now available to purchase for the holiday season. The Star Wars Starter Pack (whoo hoo!) will be released in 2016, and the Disney Frozen Starter Pack (double Whoo Hoo!) will be released in 2017.
