How To Prepare For Back-To-School Sports

Sharing is caring!

This mom shares a big secret: how to prepare for back-to-school sports in one step. #GoBackHealthy #Ad

Disclosure: I’m proud to partner with MinuteClinic as part of their Back to School #GoBackHealthy campaign. As part of my involvement, I have received sponsorship from MinuteClinic for my posts and activities, but all opinions expressed are purely my own.

Don’t you love September? It’s like a new year, but better. School starts, kids (and some parents) get new wardrobes, and there’s school supplies! Crayons for everyone! The one thing my kids love the most about September are the back-to-school sports.

From soccer, to football, to karate, it seems like every kid is enrolled in a sport during the fall. Besides the purchasing of uniforms, sneakers that they’ll scuff up, and team snacks (I love being the snack mom), we also have to get those physicals done.

Most sports require that kids visit a doctor before they start practice, having them fill out forms and make sure their ready to take on their sport of choice. The problem? EVERYBODY has to go. Can you even imagine how many appointments doctors have during the fall JUST for sports physicals? It has to be dozens of kids a day. This year, we’re bypassing the doctor’s office, and going to CVS MinuteClinic.

We love that CVS MinuteClinic offers sports physical services, since our time is so short in the fall. It’s nice to take care of 2 physicals within the time we would be waiting in the pediatrician’s office. But that’s not all CVS MinuteClinic is offering to help keep our kids #GoBackHealthy this school season. They also have acne services and vaccination services available. One-stop shopping: I like it.

Well, secret’s out. That’s how we’re preparing for back-to-school sports. The uniforms and sneakers are already purchased. Let’s run to CVS and get these physicals done, so Mama can cross that to-do off her list.
