Instant Pot corn on the cob is the quickest, tastiest way to make your favorite side dish fast! Learn how to cook fresh corn on the cob in your pressure cooker in less than 10 minutes!

How to make Instant Pot Corn on the Cob

The Instant Pot has taken over the world, you guys. I don’t mean that in a nonchalant way, either. Everyone and their mom has an Instant Pot, and it brings so much joy to my heart right now.

We’ve taken full advantage of using our Instant Pot, from making beans, Instant Pot oatmeal, cat food, and now, making Instant Pot corn on the cob for a crowd.

How to make Instant Pot Corn on the Cob

We place full size corn on the cob right in the Instant Pot, and let this awesome thing do its magic. Within 7 minutes, we have the most tender corn you’d ever encountered.

The steam feature on the Instant Pot is key here, as it gently cooks the corn, and lets the juices stay put within the vegetable. Oh boy, my mouth just watered.

This works really well if you’re having lots of guests for dinner, and want to make an easy side dish, that won’t take up stovetop space.

Below is the super simple and easy “recipe” for pressure cooked corn on the cob. Enjoy!

How to make Instant Pot Corn on the Cob

Instant Pot Corn On The Cob

serves 8 to 12

Ingredients
8 to 12 corn on the cob
1/2 cup water

Instructions
Place corn in the Instant Pot insert. Add water.
Press the steam button, and set for 5 minutes.
Place the top on the Instant Pot, and put valve on Sealing.
Once corn is done, allow corn to sit for 2 minutes.
After the 2 minute mark, turn valve to Venting. Stand back! The steam will be VERY HOT and the steam water may spurt from the valve.
Once all of the pressure is released, open the Instant Pot, dress your corn with toppings of your choice, and serve.

It’s so amazing! We loved making it all summer in the Instant Pot because I didn’t have to boil it on the stove, and we didn’t have to crowd the grill with corn.
