Happy Presidents Day! We love Presidents Day in our home because we use the day to craft, learn, and have a fun little party to celebrate our founding fathers. A Presidents Day party? Yup, you read that right. Here are three super easy Presidents Day crafts to do during your Presidents Day party.
Googly Eyed Lincoln
Grab a bag of googly eyes, a glue stick, white and black construction paper. Let your kiddos cut out the shape of President Lincoln’s top hat and a triangle for his beard. Take 2 googly eyes, the cutouts, and create your own googly-eyed Lincoln!
Presidential Memory
Using note cards, or word strips from the dollar store, have your kids write the last names of former and current presidents. Don’t worry parents: you can google the list of presidents, to make it easier on yourself. Or, test your memory, and see if YOU can name them all and have your kids spell all the names correctly.
Pipe Cleaner President
This one is so simple because your kids get to use their imagination! Provide red, blue, black, and even white pipe cleaners. Have your kiddos make their mini-presidents using the multi-colored pipe cleaners. Give your President Lincoln a top hat, or your President Washington a full head of white hair. We kept it simple by making the faces a circle, and the bodies an oval or triangle shape.
Snack Attack
Don’t forget about the snacks! I keep it super, and simple, by putting out We love that these are microwaveable and ready in seconds, so we don’t have to stop the fun to make our party snacks.
We also love that we can find SUPERPRETZEL® in our local grocery store’s freezer section and that the SUPERPRETZEL® website has a rocking coupon available for download! Print off your SUPERPRETZEL® coupon and grab a box or two of soft pretzels or Softstix the next time you’re at the grocery store: (Desktop only).
Let Presidents Day turn into a super fun day for everyone in your family. Enjoy doing these easy Presidents Day crafts together, and enjoying your snacks!

Unfortunately, Presidents Day is just another day in our household. No extra days off or anything. Hope my entry can still count! Just being honest!

We spent the day with the kids since they were out of school. We went out to lunch and to an indoor trampoline park. At night we watched a movie and snacked on homemade caramel corn, one of my kids’ favorite treats!

These look like really cute crafts! My girls love getting out the scissors and glue to make things. Just as long as there is not glitter involved, I’m happy. I hate cleaning that stuff up.

Thanks so much.
