Like every other person on the planet, I’ve always wanted to meet Oprah Winfrey. My own mother has been obsessed with Oprah as long as I can remember; changing her hair whenever Oprah did, watching the Oprah Winfrey show everyday, and even going with one of her best friends to be in the audience in an attempt to be part of the “Oprah’s Favorite Things” show. So, Oprah was a big part of our family life and I wished to meet her one day.
Well, in 3 days, that wish will come true. 24 bloggers and I were invited to attend the A Wrinkle In Time Event in L.A. We will have the pleasure of interviewing Oprah, as well as Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon and A Wrinkle In Time director Ava DuVernay. No, I’m not freaking out. YOU’RE freaking out! Here’s a list of everyone we’ll be interviewing from Disney’s A Wrinkle In Time:
Oprah Winfrey (“Mrs. Which”)
Reese Witherspoon (“Mrs. Whatsit”)
Mindy Kaling (“Mrs. Who”)
Storm Reid (“Meg Murry”)
Gugu Mbatha-Raw (“Dr. Kate Murry”)
Rowan Blanchard (“Veronica”)
Levi Miller (“Calvin”)
Deric McCabe (“Charles Wallace Murry”)
Director Ava DuVernay
We also get to attend the A Wrinkle In Time red carpet! Be sure to follow me on Instagram for red carpet coverage on InstaStories and Instagram Live.
The fun doesn’t stop there, though. We are going to get a sneak peek at some of ABC’s new shows, and chatting with someone you know and love from a show you may have heard of before.

The Final Season of Scandal
Scandal is in its 7th and final season, and we’ll get to talk with Bellamy Young! Bellamy plays Camazotz Mom in A WRINKLE IN TIME, so we’ll be asking her questions about that role, as well as her role as Mellie Grant in Scandal.
Alex, Inc
Based on the podcast StartUp, Alex Schuman (Zach Braff, “Scrubs”) is a brilliant radio journalist, husband and father of two who is about to do something crazy – quit his job and start his own company. He quickly discovers it’s going to be a lot harder than he thought. Zach Braff stars directs and is executive producer with Matt Tarses (“Scrubs”) and Davis Entertainment (“Dr. Ken,” “Blacklist”). Alex, Inc. premieres on Wednesday March 28 8:30|7:30c.
We will screen the first two episodes followed by Q&A and photos with Zach Braff (“Alex Schuman”) and Tiya Sircar (“Rooni Shuman”) and Executive Producer Matt Tarses.
Splitting Up Together
Splitting Up Together (premiering Tues 3/27 at 9:30|8:30c after the premiere of “Roseanne”), based on the Danish series, “Splitting Up Together” is the story of a couple (Jenna Fischer, “The Office,” and Oliver Hudson, “Scream Queens”) whose marriage is reignited by their divorce. Emily Kapnek (“Suburgatory”) writes and serves as executive producer of this new comedy, along with Ellen DeGeneres.
After screening three episodes of Splitting Up Together, we’ll take part in a Q&A and photo opportunity with cast members Oliver Hudson (“Martin”), Lindsay Price (“Camille”) and Executive Producer/Showrunner Emily Kapnek (“Suburgatory,” “Selfie”).
Deception
When his career is ruined by scandal, superstar magician Cameron Black has only one place to turn to practice his art of deception, influence, and illusion – the FBI. Using every trick in the book and inventing new ones, he will help the government catch the world’s most elusive criminals while staging the biggest illusions of his career. The series is from writer/executive producer Chris Fedak (“Chuck”) and executive producers Greg Berlanti, Martin Gero and Sarah Schechter. Illusionist David Kwong (“Now You See Me”) will co-produce.
We get to screen the first episode of Deception, and have a Q&A with Creator and Executive Producer Chris Fedak & Co-Producer David Kwong. Deception premieres on Sunday, March 11, right after the premiere of American Idol on ABC.
For The People
Set in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (a.k.a. “The Mother Court”), the new Shondaland series show follows six talented young lawyers working on opposite sides of the law and handling the most high-profile and high-stakes federal cases in the country. The For The People series premiere airs Tuesday, March 13 at 10|9c.
We’ll preview the series premiere, followed by a Q&A and photo opportunity with stars Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Allison Adams”), Susannah Flood (“Kate Littlejohn”) and Wesam Keesh (“Jay Simmons”).
