Fun On The Avengers: Infinity War Red Carpet and World Premiere

During the Avengers #InfinityWarEvent, we were invited to walk the red carpet! Well, the carpet was actually Thanos purple *shakes fist at Thanos*, and it was such a unique experience. The red carpet experience for Avengers: Infinity War was truly magical because it spanned a whole city block.

As we entered the red carpet experience, we were greeted with lots of places to take photos and prepare ourselves for the awesomeness we were about to view on the big screen.

From posters, large installations, and a special step and repeat, there was fun around every corner.

My favorite part was the costumes and memorabilia within the covered walkway. We were able to view 10 years worth of Marvel Studios history, under one long tent.

The magic of each space was felt by everyone who walked past them, many stopping to take photos. We even spotted Letitia Wright admiring her own Shuri costume from Black Panther. I was able to film her reaction and post it on my Instagram Stories! It was truly sweet to see her enjoy that moment.

As an Iron Man fan, I had to get a photo with his Mark 50 helmet. This photo was so appropriate for my reaction to Avengers: Infinity War, that I had to tweet it out after we saw the film.

As we made our way into the Dolby Theater, we were elbow to elbow with fellow movie stars. Once we grabbed our seats in the theater, the celebrity sightings ran rampant. With front row seats, we even made it into Chris Hemsworth’s Instagram video! See if you can spot me (I wore a white dress that night).

Robert Downey Jr. gave an awesome speech about the lack of egos within the family on that stage. It was so beautiful to see THE Iron Man, the hero that started it all, share how honored he was to work with such talented people. After his speech, he walked right past me, and I mustered up enough nerve to say “great speech, RDJ!” Then, I passed out. OK, I really didn’t pass out. But, OMG I SAID SOMETHING TO MY FAVORITE SUPERHERO. SOMEONE COME GET ME BECAUSE MY LIFE IS COMPLETE NOW. Sorry, I had to get that out.

As the lights dimmed, and we all grabbed our popcorn, we knew were were in for an unforgettable experience. I’ve shared my review of Avengers: Infinity War in a previous post (spoiler free), so feel free to read it.

I’m still overwhelmed from this experience on the Avengers: Infinity War red carpet. Marvel Studios should be so proud of the event they put together for the fans of this franchise.

Oh, did I mention the after party? We were able to attend a Marvel after-party! Press is usually not invited to the Marvel after-parties, so this was such a special treat. To be steps away from Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Zoe Saldana, and Mark Ruffalo was truly awesome. I was too chicken to ask any of them for selfies, but this memory will live on in my mind for a very long time.

Have you gotten your tickets for Avengers: Infinity War? It hits theaters tomorrow!
