One of the first things I learned when I became a married lady is how to clean a gas stove top. I’ve tried cleaning it so many ways over the past 13 years, but there are 3 genius gas stove top hacks that have changed my whole entire life. Today, I’m going to share them with you.
How To Clean A Gas Stove Top
Hack 1 – A Vacuum
Have you ever turned the vacuum on to clean your stove top? Well, friend, now is the time to try it out. Using a vacuum is genius because it not only sucks up any food residue you may have on your stove top, it can also suck up the cleaner you use.
I keep it natural and simple by using baking soda, vinegar, water, and a little essential oil to clean a gas stove top. Once I’m done using the cleaner, I vacuum it up with my handheld vacuum cleaner.
Hack 2 – A Toothbrush
I admit that I’m a little crazy for this one, but because we use our stove 3 times a day, cleaning it with a toothbrush makes sense. Once I’m done scrubbing the daylights out of the stove top, I like to scrub the sides of the burners. It’s insane, but it keeps your gas stove looking new and pretty.

Hack 3 – Olive Oil
LISTEN. Don’t leave. I know things are getting a little nutty with these hacks, but this one is possibly my favorite. Have you ever cleaned your stove, worked hard to get it back to normal, but it looks a little dull?
Add some olive oil to a clean rag, and rub your stove top down with the oil. It adds a simple sheen to your stove, and since it’s a natural oil, it’s just fine to put on your stove. I like my stove to be clean and look clean. Go figure.
