As the weather gets cooler, you can see the switch from flip flops and sandals to flats and booties. I have to say that I do have a love of flats and I can’t seem to get enough of them every Fall season. This year, I have a few favorites and they all seemed to be embellished flats. You just can’t go wrong with a comfortable shoe that has a pop of flavor.
Studs and spikes are all the rage on clothing and shoes this season. I love these Chelsea casual flats from Dr. Weil Footwear. When I received these a few months ago, I was shocked at how fashionable yet comfortable they are. I paired these embellished flats with bright yellow polka dot pants as a contrast to the metal studs and muted purple color of the shoe.
I can’t get enough of shoes with a metallic toe. I rocked my favorite high heel pointy toe shoes in a recent post, and these flats are just as loved. Both pair are from were snagged from Target for a steal. I love seeing metallic toe shoes paired with trouser or flared jeans. The peak of metal from underneath the hem of the jean just makes an outfit, whether you’re out on the town or at a PTA meeting.
How can you go wrong with a chain link detail on a shoe? You can’t! When crocs sent me these Gianna flats, I just about fell over from the cuteness. I love that the chain links are multi-colored and the round toe makes them casual but easy to dress up if you wanted. I paired them with animal print skinnies and a white blouse to keep the outfit edgy.
Last but not least, let’s talk neon. Neon has been all the rage this summer, and it’s making it’s way into fashionistas’ wardrobes this fall and winter. This pair of Sam & Libby flats from Target are perfect with a denim on denim outfit to give the ensemble a bright pop of happy.
