I have this issue with sharing my 80s favorites with my kids. Wether it’s the fashion trends, toys, or cool dance moves (anyone remember the Kid and Play?), I want my young’uns to feel the awesome that is everything 80s. I also love when I can sit them down and let them watch some of my favorite shows, and have them stop bickering for a bit. Fraggle Rock came to the rescue this past weekend.
On August 22nd, Hulu launched Jim Henson Family TV on Hulu Kids, which features 10 series from the Jim Henson collection, including my favorite, “Fraggle Rock.” With Jim Henson Family TV, families can relive the magic of the fun-loving Fraggles, as well as other favorite Henson characters, while teaching children valuable lessons about the world with music, comedy and lots of fun.
All episodes of Fraggle Rock are available commercial-free on Hulu Plus. Five rolling, consecutive episodes of each show will be available on the free, ad-supported Hulu.com. I appreciated the rolling episodes in the midst of a sibling fight this past Sunday. The kids pulled out the laptop, bought up Hulu and danced their cares away with the beloved muppets. Now that we have the Jim Henson Family TV in our arsenal, I can default back to it on cagey days.
It’s amazing how we have such fond memories of shows and other pastimes during our childhood. It’s also amazing how, thanks to technology, those shows are now becoming favorites of our own children. And when you can share a memory with your kids for free, you are getting a great deal! I hope you’re able to enjoy Jim Henson Family TV and of course, Fraggle Rock!

My lil’ dude has discovered so many of the shows we loved as kids too!
Loved fraggle rock, grew up watching that show. I can hear the theme song now – Dance your cares away, Worry’s for another day. Let the music play, Down at Fraggle Rock, Down at Fraggle Rock, Down at Fraggle Rock. I also grew up watching Voltron and The Thing – “Thing Ring Do Your Thing”. Those are the two I can remember. OMG, this puts a smile on my face.
Oh my! My kids would definitely love these.
Awww, I LOVED that show! My girls love to watch The Smurfs and Bewitched. Two of my childhood favorites.
I LOVED Fraggle Rock! As far as my favorite shows, I just miss good ol’ Saturday morning cartoons. They just aren’t the same anymore. I tell my kids all the time as that they just don’t know what they are missing.
I loved fraggle rock when I was growing up, I am sure my daughter would love this too.
so cute! I used to love Fraggle Rock when I was a kid!
I’ve never heard of Fraggle Rock but it sounds like something my little one would enjoy!
I never watched Fraggle Rock, but I think my four year old daugher would appreciate them. Thanks for the info.

Seriously one of my favorite shows as a child. Can’t wait to share Fraggle Rock with my kids.
Amazing! I loved Fraggle Rock! Can’t wait to show this to my kids:) Thanks for sharing!
I missed Fraggle Rock since I was more of a 70’s kid. I was watching The Muppet Show instead – always a favorite. I should check out Hulu. I think I heard Liberty Kids is on there, too.
I loved Fraggle Rock growing up and I am happy to share that love with the little’s in my life. It’s great that they made these old episodes available!
