I used JOHNSON’S® for my little one and for myself as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #johnsonspartners #SoMuchMore
Everyone has a favorite season. It’s the one that makes them feel energized or serene. For me I have a favorite smelling season. While spring is my favorite part of the year visually, Fall is my favorite smelling season. My nose hits overdrive when September rolls around, and it has nothing to do with allergies! Here are 5 of my favorite fall smells, and I think some of these might be your favorites too.
Fallen Leaves
I love the smell of the forest, but things get taken up a notch when the leaves start to fall. There is a special scent to them. It’s a warm, innocuous smell that tells you that it’s almost time to bundle up and increase your snuggle time.
Burnt Marshmallows
When the weather starts to get colder, it’s time to get that fireplace going or that fire pit roaring the backyard. To me, I never focus on the smell of the embers, but of the marshmallows that we roast each and every time there’s a fire going. Heck, we sometimes just roast marshmallows on the stovetop. That smell is what’s key for me. When I smell a burnt marshmallow, I know fall is here.
Cinnamon
There’s a reason we love all Pumpkin Spice everything: the spices! This is also why we covet fall themed desserts. Cinnamon is the earthy spice that we all love in the fall and winter. I take it to the next level and add cinnamon sticks to the slow cooker with sliced oranges and a good amount of water. They simmer all day, and my home smells like a warm hug.
Sunlight
Yes, I said sunlight. The sun that shines during the fall does have a distinct smell. It’s a little more grounded, and a bit more relaxed. It’s not overbearing like the summer sun, and it just filly your lungs with ease. The sun isn’t all about visual, you guys. There’s a smell there. The next time you’re standing in front of your window this fall, take in the smell of the sun.
Honey and Apple
There’s nothing like the one-two punch of apples and honey. Apples have always been synonymous with fall, but that addition of honey takes it to another level. I love to eat them in Autumn, but I also love to smell like them. JOHNSON’S® baby moisture wash with honey apple and JOHNSON’S® baby lotion with honey apple are our favorite smells right now in our home. The baby moisture wash is what all three kiddos have been using during bath time, and I’ve been hoarding the JOHNSON’S® baby lotion with honey apple.
I can’t get enough of it. It’s the perfect combination of the two smells, and of course, it keeps our skin so baby soft. JOHNSON’S® baby lotion with honey apple combines honey and apple, ingredients long known for their sweet smell and nourishing benefits, with gentle emollients to help maintain your baby’s skin’s natural moisture for 24 hours.
But not just baby’s skin benefits from JOHNSON’S® baby lotion with honey apple. My skin has been so soft and supple during this weather change. Clinically proven to be gentle and mild for your and your baby’s skin. Plus, it smells amazing!
I love the smell of burnt marshmallows also!
