Create A Kids Fashion Capsule with Loteda

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Loteda. All experiences, tips and opinions are my own.

Our family has been bitten by the fashion capsule bug. We’ve scaled down our wardrobes significantly, and have been enjoying the few pieces we wear. Even our kids have loved not having a ton of pieces to choose from when getting dressed in the morning. They get to wear their favorite tees, shorts, and dresses as often as they would like. It’s been fun to see them use their individual styles to create daily outfits.

The only thing that keeps us from fully enjoying our kids’ fashion capsules is that they grow out of clothes so quickly! Baby Frugal is our biggest culprit lately, growing quickly out of shorts, tees and shoes. I almost can’t keep up!

When Loteda contacted us to try their service, I was intrigued. A service the offers curated, gently-loved items for kids…and they are sold in coordinating lots? I had to give it a go.

While I love shopping for my kids, and thrifting for their outfits, finding items that are easy to mix and match can be tough. Add in that I have to do this for 3 very different children means clothes shopping is way more stressful than it should be. Loteda (pronounced Lot-E-Dah) might be my saving grace.

How Loteda Works

Pick the gender of your child.

Visit the Loteda website and pick the size of your child (sizes are from NB to 5/5t).

Select your price range for each item in the lot. I love that this is an option, since we have a particular monthly clothing budget.

Review the lots, which can contain 4 or more items. Select the one or ones you love the most, and purchase. Easy, right?

What We Got In Our Lot

Our lot was full of items that fit the personalities of Alannah and Baby Frugal. Plus, all of the pieces are interchangable, which means we can create many outfits from the 4 pieces that were sent for each child. How fun!

The pieces were name brands that we knew and love (shout out to Osh-Kosh and Baby Gap), were in great condition, and durable. Durable is key when it comes to my little ones, even our rough and tumble girl.

Can You Sell Clothes On Loteda?

Yes! As a side-hustle lover, it was refreshing to see that Loteda sells and purchases clothing. The best part about selling with Loteda is that they take care of the hard parts: pricing, photography, curating the lots, and shipping the purchases. Sellers receive 60% of the resale price. That’s a nice chunk of change. Want to learn more? Click here: Loteda Seller Guide.

Is This Good For Families On A Budget?

After reviewing the items sent to us, reviewing the website and prices for the lots, I would say yes. Besides the fact that it saves so much time (no more hours of shopping thrift stores), the prices of the lots are reasonable, and the quality of the clothing is top-notch.

I contacted them to get a bag to sell and they are not taking any new clothing for selling at the moment.
