When I had the opportunity to out together a red carpet Princess Tiana Disneybound outfit for Ralph Breaks The Internet, I knew I was going to go full-force into it. Being a big Disney fan, there was no way I wasn’t going to represent for one of my top two Disney Princesses (Jasmine is my favorite).
But, my biggest challenge was trying to create a red carpet Tiana Disneybound outfit that didn’t break the budget. So, I took on the task, and headed to Amazon.

The dress was the hardest part. I had a few items in my own wardrobe that would be perfect for a Tiana Disneybound outfit, when wearing it around town. But, I didn’t have anything fancy enough for the Ralph Breaks The Internet red carpet. I did a simple search on Amazon for “sage green dress,” and stumbled upon this beauty. It was lace, the beautiful Princess Tiana green, and it had a sash!
It also helped that the dress had Prime shipping, and it was under $25. Here’s a tip: when you get the dress, use the sash as a bow for your hair. I tied it in my hair, then made a fun bouffant in the front by stuffing my natural hair under the bow.

Now, the obvious option for a Tiana Disneybound outfit is the go with a gold shoe. I decided to take it up a notch to a rose gold shoe, because I think the softer color works so much better with Tiana’s personality. Also, I already had a rose gold open-toed shoe in my closet. Ha! I found a similar pair on Amazon, and they were only $25!

The purse is where you can have so much fun with your red carpet Princess Tiana Disneybound. You can find a super cute frog themed purse or clutch, or do what I did, and use the purse to pay homage to amphibians and other New Orleans based animals. I had a faux snake skin purse in my closet, but I did find (and want) this amazing purse on Amazon. I love that it goes so well with the rose gold heels.
Dressing up as Tiana for the night was so much fun! I got so many compliments on my red carpet Princess Tiana Disneybound outfit, and I love that the whole outfit can be recreated for less than $75.
