If you cried while watching the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, it’s C-3PO’s fault. 

Poe: What uh, what’re you doing there, 3PO?
C-3PO: Taking one last look, sir. At my friends.

Why are they doing this to us? Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the end of an era, and with this last trailer, we are sure feeling it. 

When I shared all of the Star Wars Episode IX details you need to know, I wasn’t sure if we were still going to get that heartfelt, action-packed J.J. Abrams type of feel. Now, I’m certain. Hashtag #ThanksJJ.

Tickets are now available for purchase, and we’ll see our intergalactic friends one last time on December 20th, 2019.
