This is day 21 of the 30 Days of Financial Affirmations challenge. If you missed any of the previous days, check out the overview page for links to the other affirmations.
We all have expectations for ourselves. We want to have certain traditions, ethics and even material things to be staples in our lives. We expect our work ethic to stay the same, always pushing and striving for better. Better is what we’re told to always look for as we grow. The better grade, the better car, the better house. “Better” navigates our lives.
But what happens when the push doesn’t bring the better? Does is mean that we weren’t meant to have it? Absolutely not. The push is the key. When it comes to our finances, how are we pushing ourselves toward greatness? Are we sacrificing our wants to take care of our needs? Are we making sure that we are providing a service to others, rather than working on serving ourselves? We must ask ourselves these questions daily. Once we can remove our expectations of “better,” better can arrive.
Here’s your affirmation for today:
I will push through. I will be of service. I will watch my spiritual and financial wealth grow.
For today’s task, I’d like for you to really think about how you are being of service to others. Are you working to make other lives better, or just your own? There is magic in servicing others and encouraging them to create a wealthier life, and this is the perfect time to discover that magic.
