Visiting Madame Tussauds in Hollywood to celebrate the release of Avengers: Infinity War on BluRay seemed that the perfect activity for selfie-loving influencers. Spoiler alert: it was. Topping that experience with an exclusive interview with Trinh Tran, Executive Producer of Avengers: Infinity War was a clutch move. Disney and Marvel, you’re so smart. There’s so much to share with you from that day, especially during our interview with Trinh. If you’re a Marvel fan, you’re going to love what she has to say about the newest film, and what the franchise has in store for us.
The Avengers At Madame Tussaud’s Hollywood
One of the most fun we had during our short time at Madame Tussaud’s Hollywood was taking photos with The Avengers. OK, not the REAL Avengers, but the awesome wax figures. The Marvel Super Heroes 4D experience within Madame Tussaud’s Hollywood is perfect for Marvel fans to explore.
Iron Man is my favorite Avenger, so I had to take a few photos with Tony Stark with and without his suit.
A group photo with Thor and Trinh Tran just had to happen. We loved that she joined in on the fun!
An Interview With Trinh Tran
Before we explored the rest of Madama Tussaud’s and made our own Infinity Gauntlets, we were able to sit down with Trinh and talk to her about Avengers: Infinity War and what’s next for the franchise.

An Executive Producer’s Day-To-Day Tasks
Trinh shared with us what her tasks and duties are, in terms of being an Executive Producer for a Marvel film.
“It’s amazing because I’m able to be a part of the culture from beginning to end. When the idea first came out, we were finishing up shooting Civil War. We came back and were in the story room with Joe, Anthony, Steven, and Chris, our writers, and we started just hashing out ideas. Being a part of that creative process, sitting together with the writers and directors, coming up with the beats and ideas, and then taking it all the way through shooting.”
“Being on set every day, making sure that Marvel’s vision was there, and that we’re following through with the stories we wanted to tell. Following it through in post production, being in Editorial every single day, night, holiday, you name it.”
“I remember the last day we called Wrap. We had a big cake there and everybody made speeches. As soon as the AD called Wrap, Joe (Russo) and I ran straight to the airport because we had a 10 AM Editorial call. We went straight into post production; that’s how intense it was. It was being there every single day, every step of the way; which was the most exciting part.”

Deciding Which Avengers Will Survive
When you watch Avengers: Infinity War, there are so many emotional moments, especially when it came to seeing some of our favorite superheroes exit the story. We asked Trinh how they decided which Avengers would leave us, who would survive, and how this will play a factor in Avengers 4.
“It was pretty difficult. Sitting in the story meeting, we had to make the decision of who we want to survive so we could tell the next story. We sat there and we boarded out, we brainstormed; we’d sit in the room, hash it out every single day, involvement in pre-production. It was really trying to figure out how this was going to connect to Avengers 4, and we wanted to be able to tell a story. I won’t get into it much because I don’t want to spoil anything, but there is a specific reason why some of these people survive.”

Women in Power – Working With Victoria Alonso
Victoria Alonso, EVP of Physical Production, is another woman in power at Marvel Studios, so we wanted to know how Trinh felt working with Victoria. With two women of color in such high positions within the studio house, there has to be a camaraderie and admiration between the two of them. Little did we know, Trinh had a connection early in her career with Victoria, briefly serving as Victoria’s assistant.
“She is amazing. She’s one of the Top 3 at Marvel. I actually used to be her Assistant for a period of time, and she is so supportive. Marvel’s so wonderful because everybody’s very supportive, positive and really try to nurture your career. And Victoria especially, since day one, brought me over to be with her, and allow me to just grow. She’s an advocate for bringing more women into the film industry.”
“I wish we could all be in the story meetings together. I think it is important we have such a different perspective, and we need more of that in the industry. She is a fighter, which I really love. I’d love to see more of that. We’re doing more of that at Marvel, which is amazing.”
