Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is officially open, and there’s so much to do and see. After viewing this new fully immersive land, I made sure to scout out all of the places to sit in Galaxy’s Edge. With 14 acres to walk, you’ll need a relaxing place to regroup.

Across from Oga’s Cantina
This may be my favorite place to sit out of the whole land, because it’s prime for people watching. You can check out who’s waiting in line to get their specialty cocktails and cocktails, or who’s taking their iconic Millennium Falcon photo.
Around the corner of The Milk Stand
This resting place is in a prime location. You can grab your green or blue milk, and take it just around the corner to sit and enjoy. This place to sit is also located across from restrooms, so you can relax here while your Kessel crew uses the facilities.
Bonus Tip: Did you bring in a reusable water bottle? There’s a water refill station located right next to this place to sit.
This place to sit is also near the second exit of the Droid Depot. It’s great spot to wait for your family members, while they build their droids.

Across from Savi’s Workshop
Here’s where things get interesting. If you decide to build a lightsaber at Savi’s workshop, there is a place to sit while you’re in the queue. But, if you just want a quiet space to watch guests enter the workshop, or get away from stormtroopers, there’s a long sitting area across from the entrance.
The Marketplace Entrance
Take a rest here while your group grabs toys from the Toydarian Toymaker, or sweet and spicy popcorn from Kat Saka’s Kettle. This rotunda style seating located at the entrance of the marketplace. There’s also restrooms in this spot, so it’s another double whammy of resting spaces.
Outside Area of Docking Bay 7
Docking Bay 7 is Galaxy’s Edge quick service restaurant, but it has a beautiful outdoor sitting area with sturdy tables. There’s no need to purchase items in order to sit in this area. There’s lots of seating in this shaded outdoor area.
Truthfully, the imagineers did a great job of filling the land with ample seating and lots of open space. These areas listed are fun places to have possible interactions with characters, and rest in the shade.
I hope you enjoy your time in Batuu! If you found other key places to sit in Galaxy’s Edge, please let us know in the comments below.
