Intention seems to be a word that everyone loves to throw around lately. Be intentional about working out. Be intentional about spending time with your children. Be intentional about your self-care. It almost makes it difficult to hear it used in yet another fashion. But, there’s a reason that this powerful word is being used so much. Intention creates results.
Intention is action. We know that Newton’s Law states for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When we are intentional about what we must do to prosper, we are ensured an equal and opposite result from that intention. How intentional are you when it comes to building your wealth? Are you being intentional about this challenge? Or is it more like you’re reading each day, saying the affirmation right after you read it, half-heartedly doing the tasks, and commenting to yourself that nothing is changing in your life.
As a fellow human being, I can guess that 90% of the readers of this challenge are doing the latter. It’s not our fault that our intentions are lackluster. This is the new way of society. Put in minimum work, and get at least enough out of it to eat, cover bills, and maybe have a dinner out. With just a quick type in the search box, we can have the internet tell us the answer to just about anything. No need for heavy research anymore. Being intentional is now something peculiar in our culture.
Well, if we want better for ourselves, our families, and our future, our intentions need to be big and bold. We need to commit.

Your task for today will be simple. Be intentional about one thing today. It doesn’t have to be financially based, but you do need to completely commit to it. Allow yourself to smile at each and every person you encounter. Choose to clean at least 2 rooms in your home. Use your work commute to listen to a book or podcast that will positively affect your mindset. Be intentional about this one thing, and see what manifests from it by the end of the day.
