Well folks, this is my final week before I am off to military land for 6 days, and I am truly nervous. Not about the training, but about if my hubby and boy will have enough to eat while I am gone! lol…so I decided that I will be making double of a few of this week’s meals so they can have a good amount of food in the house. Even if they don’t eat it all, at least I won’t have to worry about cooking for a few days when I get back, right? Well, here’s the plan, Stan:
Monday: Labor Day! Traveling home…
Tuesday: Red Beans and rice
Wednesday: Roasted Chicken with rice pilaf and green peas
Thursday: Spice rubbed(new recipe!) steak salad with garlic bread
Friday: Pizza! chicken and black olive pizza
Saturday: Black bean soup(adaptation of PW’s recipe) and grilled cheese sammies
Sunday: Slow cooker peachy chicken
Monday: Lasagna
Tuesday: off to work I go!
